About AEAT Sync

AEAT Sync is a technical compliance platform designed to help businesses and professionals in Spain generate, store, and submit VeriFactu‑compatible invoices in accordance with Real Decreto 1007/2023 and the Reglamento de los Sistemas Informáticos de Facturación (RSIF).

AEAT Sync is owned and operated by Orionpath Unipessoal Lda, a registered company based in Portugal.

Regulatory Compliance

AEAT Sync is built to fully comply with the requirements of the RSIF, including:

AEAT Sync does not act as an intermediary, representative, or authorized filer before the Agencia Tributaria.

All submissions are performed exclusively using the user's own valid digital certificate, and users remain solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they submit.

3. User Authentication & Digital Certificates

To comply with Spanish tax regulations:

• AEAT Sync never submits invoices using its own certificate
• AEAT Sync never impersonates users
• Users must authenticate with their own digital certificate (FNMT, DNIe, or equivalent)

This ensures full legal validity and preserves the user's responsibility for their tax obligations.

• Cryptographic hash chaining
• Immutable audit logs
• Secure storage of XML submissions
• Preservation of AEAT response files
